18.07.2015, 0,75l bottle shared @ BBGTC tasting:
Big slightly fizzy-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry yeasty, weeds, yeast, hay, citrus peel, grass, grain, paper, sweaty cheese. Taste is slightly dry and harsh, weeds, shed, sweaty cheese, hay, yeast, paper, flowers, minerals. Medium bitterness, dry harsh mouthfeel. Not really my cup of tea.

Medium fylde.

Bottle, 75cl corked. At Amundsen. It pours a huge, creamy, off-white head over an unclear, amber colored body. The aroma has peaches, pine cones, resins and some pale malts and yeast. It has a decent bitterness in the mouth, it’s full-bodied, soft and nicely carbonated, with flavors of pine cones, peaches and resin. Lasting finish with some yeast. Overall, a quite refreshing and nice beer, but it’s too much on the yeasty side. 141127

Bottle, 75cl, at Amundsen. A slight gusher, producing a big, light tan head over a black to dark brown body. Roasted malts, some chocolate, mocha and a good dash of coffee in the aroma. The flavor has more chocolate than found in the aroma, with a nice hoppy bitterness. Roasted malts and mocha too. It’s full-bodied, with a tad too much carbonation. Lovely chocolate finish with the coffee a bit toned down. Lot’s of goodness going on here, with chocolate, coffee and hoppy bitterness, pity it’s a gusher though. 141127

Bottle, 75cl, at Cafe Sara. A minimal sized off-white head forms over a brown body. The aroma has green apples, roasted malts, powdery pine cones and some smoke phenols. It’s full-bodied and nicely carbonated, with flavors of roasted malts, caramel notes, smoke and pine cone hints. Chocolate too. More roasted malts than in the flavor. This one feels sort of Belgian styled, but not very Christmasy. And there’s too much apple going on. Well, it’s a decent one anyway, I bet it can be tuned into something really good next Christmas. 141127

Cloudy pale golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Herbal, mellow malty and mild fruity aroma. Inviting. A fine body with a mellow carbonation. Creamy and easy to drink. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Really fresh and pleasant flavor. Maybe more a powerful Czech pilsner than a Kölsch. Well it does not matter. Nice and easy drinkable beer. Mostly herbal, mild malty and mellow fruity flavor.
