Bottle shared at Deans sticky floor tasting. Pours cloudy brown with a tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, raisins and booze. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at a Ratebeer "sticky floor" tasting, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy dark brown colour with a thick tan head and broken lace. The aroma is rich and malty. The flavour is bitter spicy malty and with a lingering malty palate. A very decent beer.

Bottle at Dean’s sticky floor tasting. Opaque brownish color, small beige head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell malts, raisins, molasses, alcohol. Taste malts, caramel, alcohol, dark fruits. Decent body and carbonation.

75cl bottle shared with Joes and Dutchdrebus. Clear golden color, full sized active white head that lasts for quite a while and leaves a fair lacing. Smell malts, hops, some fruityness. Taste malts, hops, slightly fruity, bitter. Bitter and slightly weird finish, a bit thin bodied, a bit high carbonated. Not bad, but not as good as I had hoped.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden yellow colour with a big white head. Smells toiletrefresher (the tablets they have in urinals in the pub), some hops, some pine. Tastes hoppy, bitter, some grapefruit, malty, some pine. Medium body, full carbo.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate to heavy yeasty, fruity, belgium yeast, riped fruit, alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, peppery, riped fruit, alcohol, spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to fizzy. [20120914]
