75cl bottle picked up in Alsace. Quite pale and a bit misty in the glass, taste is fairly mild, sweet, very light syrup, a bit Frankfurt apfelweiny, maybe a Gernanic Alsace thing, light tart moments, bright effervescence.. sweet desert apple fruit, no tannin, not especially entertaining these apple varieties

Bottle at Maakun’s, thanks! Light straw with some white ring head. Sweet applejuice with tart edges. Cool cellar air, some light wood, marzipan. Sweet with tart edges. Light bodied with light fizzy carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cidre D’Alsace on 02 May 2020 at 22:23 - Score: 7. Original review text: Light straw with some white ring head. Bottle shared at home. Clear pale light golden with fizzy short lasting white head. Fresh crisp apple, kiwi, white grapes, tart apples, light funk, dry apple peel. Medium sweet, over light tart and very light bitter. Under medium bodied with very crisp feel and low tannins. OK cider, but a bit light. Nice fruity and crispy feel though.
