Opaque deep brown to black with a small tan head of low retention. Roast & toast, smoked wood, prunes, dates, chocolate, floral hop. Light sweet? Light plus hop bitterness. Somewhat empty at the end. Not bad generally.

Opaque deep brown. One finger tall ivory-coloured head of low retention. Dark malts, roasted barley, cinnamon, dates, & prunes, coffee, chocolate, cream, some hop. Medium sweet, light to medium bitterness along. Not my cup of tea.
