Description

Unpasteurized ’pils’ with frothy, snow white, stable head and colour of ’old gold’, hazy. Aroma of bread, cheese, grains, soap, vanilla. Pale malts in the mouth, soft mouthfeel, grainy with sourish accent, relatively strong and dry hop bitterness in the finish. Very good Pilsener and far removed from a bland standard lager.

Heavy stout with light beige head and blackish colour with burgundy hue, hazy. Dutch dubbel with off-white, unstable head and misty bronze colour. Aroma of caramel, liquorice, bayleaf, pear, banana; sweet fruity taste, some orange, caramel, somewhat chocolatey and bit honeyish malt sweetness, grassy hops in the finish along with some cloying sweetness. Good but perhaps a tad too much on the sweet side.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Strong aroma of German beechwood-smoked malts, notes of smoked meat / sausages.Very smokey flavour, loads of smoked meat, a little malty sweetness. Sorry, this is not my cup of tea.
