Can thanks to Drake! Nearly black with a soft tan head. Cocoa, ash, chocolate nose. Dark and milk chocolate, ash, cocoa, roasted malt. A bit burnt in the back end, which lingers perhaps too much.

The aromas are fresh, grassy, citrusy hops with some pale malt and a little putrid. Flavors are like nose, mildly bittersweet with again a little rotten fruit. Good carbonation and decent body. Those off qualities aren't so hot though.

Well this has been in the rot box a while. Let's ser what happened. Pours pretty clear golden, small white head, dissipates pretty quickly, good lacing. Aroma is really pleasant funk, Brett, oak, basement, hints of nondescript fruit, white grape. Flavor is medium tart, medium funk, just a hint of acetone but otherwise quite pleasant. Medium body. No idea what this was like fresh, but it is nice now.

Bottle shared at AmLam tasting at Jimmy's. Pours a clearish orange with a small white head that dissipates. Dried citrus peel, horseblanket, wet hay and rhubarb notes. Palate is similar with nice clean carbonation. Drying finish with lingering citrus and stone fruit. Delicious!

Not into S&M but you never know what the future may hold. Excited for this, but possibly a bit off. No carbonation, only thing I get is strong bourbon notes. Would never be able to guess it’s a doppelbock.

“Smoked imperial stout aged in oak brandy barrels”... well, those are 4 of my favorite things so I bought this instantly. Greatness. Big and boozy, sweet and sticky. Smoked aroma but not so much in the flavor. Climactic.

12 ounce can, 6/27/20. Hazy amber, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of white bread and some floral hops. Taste is white bread, floral hops. Medium bodied, crisp. If all pale lagers were like this it would be a better world.
