Tap at 2025 Beer Expo. Very big smoky nose, lots of bacon and ham and some iodine, wth wood, chocolate, light coffee. Cloudy dark brown with a low, off-white head. Very smoky and meaty flavor, quite surprising for Japan. Porky tasting, and a bit over the top and quite bitter.

Namachan’s Pumpkin Spice Ale 5.5% Deep amber brown in color with a thick head of light beige foam and an equally large spice aroma featuring cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves though as it warms up you also get an ale earthiness that comes through. Medium to light bodied. My first thought was generic brown ale but then the spice kicked in with cinnamon and cloves while the nutmeg and reference to pumpkin spice comes through in the finish/aftertaste. It’s a decent example of the style and would scratch the pumpkin beer each but if it was in different packaging it could totally be a winter or Christmas beer. Bought at a large Muji in Ikebukuro.

On tap at Namachan, pours a hazy full golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out intense lemongrass, with green curry and other herbs I can't discern. Flavour is loaded with intense lemongrass upfront, followed by general Thai green curry notes and the herbs that go in it. Lightly sweet, finishing floral, herbal and lemongrassy. Super interesting. I like it.

On tap at Namachan, pours a hazy dark orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out smoked meat, gentle campfire notes, and bready malt. Flavour is meaty, with lots of smoked meat, some campfire smoke, and bready malt. Very smoky and bacony, a bit too much so. It's alright, just a bit abrasive.
