Had years ago at a local restaurant. I thought it was beer at first sip! Indeed, it was a poor excuse for a cider, but I did end up finishing it. Another sadly mass-produced attempt at cider that’s probably aiming at beer fans, thus it is neither here nor there and not anything particularily great by any measure.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a light golden, no head, no lacing, and very low carbonation. Taste is slightly tart apple, good tasting bite of alcohol, and a little dry.

bottle. on ice. warm. Stupid girl-waitress took it literal that i pointed at a bulmers pear on display and (i found out too late) actually served the one on display instead of one from the fridge. oh-well. Welcome to spain and cheap labor foreign waitresses (spanish waitress would never do such a stupid thing). end of rant. clear yellow, bubbly white head. very faint aroma, faint pear. flavor is sparkling water, faint apple cider, faint pear cider. this perry does not taste bad as such, it is just so light and diluted that it mostly resembles sparkling water with some pear flavor added. In this regard, alc. is prety well hidden.

bottle - Pours pale gold-green and smells of, you guessed it, pears. It’s sweet and easy drinking with a pretty good pear flavor. There’s nothing to get exciting about here, but the pear isn’t overpowering and it’s refreshing.

Draught version. Apple aroma, very fizzy, tastes like an industrial cider should. Not much to rave about, but not much to really hate. Useless but a nice refresher on the way home.
