very light golden color. Light rye, cereal malt and floral hop character. Light body, low carbonation, low medium bitterness, balanced clean and simple but rye malt is well presented with being overwhelming. Good starter beer as intended to be

Inky purple color. Thin head. Modestly tart blackberry nose. Light bodied. Modest blackberry character, tart and refreshing. Enjoy the low abv. Good summer beer. Blackberry doesnt shine, but its acceptable. Nothing overly complicated or world class, but nice beer to beat the heat and humidity. After I dumped the end of the bottle the fruit character jumped up a notch. This is a tad deeper than I initially thought. Great stuff.

This is the last of the Shiokaze beers I’ve got on hand: Shiokaze Shot Thru the Heart Dry Stout 4.1% Roasty dark cacao, quite full bodied and smooth with a raspy carbonation. Roasty but sweet enough to be balanced. I also get hints of tobacco leaf and nutty notes. Solid beer that hits the spot.

Nice light spiciness. Bit of caramel there too. Nice starter!

Nice and light. Easy going. Half of a half probably didn't do it justice.

Super mango forward. Nice hoppy bitterness. It’s a beer and not just a fruit juice.

Not so weird. But bit of that rye fruity funk at the back. Different to see a rye beer that isn't an IPA!
