50cl bottle pours a leggy opaque black with a ring of beige head. Nose is straight Nutella and licorice, cocoa and plenty of booze and barrel. Flavor is Nutella and chocolate syrup, but there is a lot of old/aged stout with raisins and fruit cake. Weird barrel character. Full bodied, sweet with a long boozy finish. Overdone. 7 4 6 3 12

Can from Tavour. Pours clear, light, bright gold with a moderate creamy white head. Aroma is floral/grass with light malt support. Arguably med body. It's dry and decently bitter. Floral/grass/pale malt for flavor. Quite nice.

Magouns draft, 6/10/23. Heavily hazy, blonde-maize. White head quickly to ring. Lovely, juicy, citrusy hop with a bit of endearing sweat. Sparse cracker malt, clean yeast, no booze, resin. Straightforward juice with a pineapple mango edge and dry, crackery malts. Not sweet, good attenuation. Medium-bodied. Spicy finish. Clean. Ample bitterness. Solid as hell. Perfect expression of everything this hop should be.

Keg at Pizzeria Paradiso, Dupont Circle DC, 13/04/23. Black with a khaki head that retains well. Nose is chocolate, charr, biscuit, brown sugar notes, toffee. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, mellow roast, toffee, brown sugars, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a roasted bite. Tidy stout for the ABV.

Can at SHIG place tasting, thanks to Fergus, 15/04/23. Moderately hazed orange with an off white cap that thins to spotting. Nose is juicy citric flesh, ripe melon, hint of pine, dank spike. Taste comprises orange pith, grass, pine resin, grapefruit, mango flesh. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced light juicy come resinous hop bitterness. Tidy IPA.

Can shared at shigs place in Newport news,. A hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is semi sweet, grass, earthy grains, wet grains, damp hay, grassy hop. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, waxy citrus piney hop, loose wheat, green berries, grass. Waxy citrus, grass. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, flaked grains, highish carbonation. Firm bitterness. Good stuff.

Can shared by Fergus: Poured a murky yellow with a white head. Aroma is nice hops nose, melon, fruity. Taste is hoppy forward, fruity, melon, lively finish.

Tap at pizza paradiso Washington DC. A dark black brown coloured pour with a lasting beige cap. Aroma is earthy roast, barley, farmyard roast, some dried fruits. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, vanilla creamy, mellow roast, ashy, jammy berries. Palate is semi sweet, smoothy, creamy, mellow carbonation. Good.
