AROMA: medium to medium-high artificial caramel aroma, with a moderately strong sweet background. very faint roastiness. APPEARANCE: dark amber color and clear. medium-low beige head, creamy, with ok retention. TASTE: initial medium artificial caramel flavor, followed by an overwhelming strong sweet character. faint roasted barley note. the sweetness starts to balance into a dry finish. PALATE: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a black lager overly sweet.

330ml dark green bottle picked up at Mercadona Almuñécar. Bright amber body, dotted spots on the glass from a declining pearl white head. Moderate smell of fruity caramel. Mixed taste of dried fruits and caramel malts. Ends dry and rather sweet. Medium bodied. Satisfying. (Hotel room, Almuñécar 15.03.2020).

AROMA: medium-low hop aroma with an herbaceous note. medium-low background of neutral sweet malt. slight alcohol note. medium-low metallic background note. APPEARANCE: deep gold color and translucent. medium ivory head, creamy, with medium retention. lace formation. TASTE: initial medium malty flavor with a sweet character. medium-low herbal hop presence. medium bitterness with a balanced finish (medium-dry to dry and slightly bitter). PALATE: medium body with medium carbonation. slight alcohol warmth. OVERALL: a more alcoholic and hop forward lager, resembling more a hop forward czech lager base than an international pale lager.

330mml. bottle. @Adri & Montse´s, Pasito Blanco (Spain).11/01/2020. [#3.201 Global - #496 Spain - #1 Mercadona (My spanish Brewery #160. Ok this is a client brewer...but you know what I mean)] Clean orange colour with a medium white head. Aroma is dried fruits, malts and soft floral hops. Taste is soft pine and floral leading to a medium hoppy bitter finish. Not fresh. Next one please!

AROMA: medium to medium-high malty aroma with a caramel character, faint maillard (bread crust), phenolic note on the background (clove-like) as well as a peppery alcoholic note. APPEARANCE: intense red ambar color and translucent. medium-low beige head, creamy, with medium-low retention. lace formation. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial medium-high malty-sweet notes (caramel-like), low phenolic (clove), peppery alcohol. medium bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish. PALATE: medium body with a slight velvety texture. medium carbonation. OVERALL: a regular belgian-like beer.

APPEARANCE: orange-ish amber color and cristal clear. medium moussy off-white head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: initial medium-low green-pine hop flavor, with slight floral notes. low malt background, slightly sweet, with a toffee-like character. medium bitterness with an almost dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an average IPA.

0,33 flaske fra Mercadona Nerja, delt med Kitty på hotellbalkongen etter fantastisk grottetur: Lett uklar gylden med ok skum. Forfriskende aroma og smak med appelsinskall/marmelade, koriander og andre kryddertoner, litt tyggis. Mild bitterhed i den halvsøte avslutningen. Meget lettdrikkelig i 27C.

0,33 flaske fra Mercadona Nerja, delt med Kitty på hotellbalkongen mens vi lytter til brenningene sent om kvelden: mørk rødlig kobber med fint skum som varer. Røde bær, brunsukker/knekk, mørke karameller, florale undertoner og hint av spanske appelsiner. Satisfying nightcap.
