Description
Hert Bier is ontstaan vanuit vriendschap, toegewijd ondernemerschap en een specialisme: het brouwen van bier. Goede ideeën hebben soms maar een kwartier nodig.

Dat beruchte kwartiertje was ergens eind 2014, toen vier vrienden uit Putten zaten te filosoferen: wat nu als er iemand van ons zijn baan verliest? Die vier vrienden waren Carlo Ruiter, die zich al 25 jaar bezighield met bierbrouwen, Marcel van Hierden, Johan Graveland en Marcel van Pijlen. Met een zelfgebrouwen biertje van Carlo in de hand was het plan snel klaar: ‘We beginnen een eigen brouwerij op de Veluwe’. Twee jaar lang pionierden ze. Toen was de tijd rijp en werden de plannen concreet.

Appearance: Pretty dark brown, clear. Some off-white head.
Aroma: Light malt, slight caramel sweetness.
Taste: Malt, toasted, caramel sweetness. Smooth.

schenkt kastanje bruin/rood met licht kaki kraag. Aroma van caramel, rozijn, moutig, zoet. Smaken zijn zacht, matig bitter, matig zoet, caramel, donker fruit, rozijn, licht gebrand, iets kruidnagel, ijzer, aards. matige body, lage co2, maar de ijzeren tonen bevallen mij niet.

Bottle @ tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Clear amber-ish color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish. Nothing more. Ok beer but nothing special.

Bottle. Color: Gold, thin off white head. Taste: Sweet malts, candy, yeast, hints of honey and orange peels. Bitter notes of orange peels in finish. Not bad, but a bit too sweet in my opinion.

Bottle in Borefts beer queue (thanks) - fuzzy golden yellow coloured pour with white head. Sweet malty and fruity with some lemon citrus notes, hay, straw, herbal and floral nuances into the close.
