0.33 l can from Interspar. Pale golden color with a thin head which almost immediately vanishes. Alcoholic aroma wit a long lasting sweet taste. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not good.

Bottle at home, 2017 version after 1 year of cellaring. Pours deep copper with beige head. Nose is malts, dried fruits and a boozy touch. In taste it’s like a barleywine/strong belgian ale mix: malty, fruity, boozy and there’s a yeasty Belgian character to it too. Medium to heavy body, soft carbo, true dessert beer.

Old rating from 2017 - 330ml bottle brought back from my trip to Belgium. Pours brown with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of apples, pears, dark fruits, plums, bread, sugar & alcohol. Medium body. Medicinal bitter finish

Bottle at home. Pours deep golden with thick head. Nose is mainly boozy with a faint yeast touch. Its taste is boozy as well, leaving almost no room for anything else, there's only some slight yeasty-fruity touch to it. Closes with long lasting sweet finish, has lively carbonation and is fairly easy to drink.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a murky burnt orange, with a medium off white head. Aroma is peaches, sweet bready malts, some apricot, but it does smack of fake stone fruit, it smells pretty artificial. Mouth feel is fine, carb is solid. Finish is more of the fake peach, and stone fruit. Semi sweet, ends with more of the bready malts and some light bitterness.

this is a beer that hides the alcohol very well. you can tell it’s there by the warmth when you swallow but the boozy flavour isnt thee. nice and yeasty LOADS of ripe fruit. really nice beer.

750 ml bottle from the LCBO. hazy golden pour, huge white head, with a lot of floaters. Huge aroma of troipcal fruit, pineapple, pears, and citrus. mouthfeel is sticky, and the carb is quite lively. the finish is a medium bitter, with a quite refreshing fruitiness. a great tripel.
