Récolte 2012 bottle, generously shared by luttonm, I can’t express how grateful I am. Dark ruby-like amber color with no head. Aroma is concentrated orange nectar, some other sweet fruits, lychee and strawberry maybe - not that much apples! -, honey, caramel, tobacco, a subtle wildness, incredibly rich and dense. Taste is honey, oranges and the other sweet fruits, apple pie, cinnamon, some spices, a bit tanninic, woody, vanilla. Warming finish. Sirupy mouthfeel, no carbonation, rich and complex. A singular experience. This is the nectar of the gods, and probably one of the best drinks humanity has ever produced.

Small bottle generously shared by luttonm, I can’t express how grateful I am! Glowing golden color with no head. Aroma is red apple skin, sweet, some wild tartness, honey, very rich and complex. Taste is red apples, intense and concentrated, wild and tart, but without actually being sour, honey again, caramel. Immensely great. Like a naturally wild-fermented apple gummy bear. No carbonation, warming finish. This is one of the most amazing drinks I’ve ever had.

Bottle pour at Matt’s. Huge thanks for the share! A lighter copper pour with no head. Dense aroma with sugars and bold apple. Thick, with a ton of caramel sugar, brown sugar, and a sour apple linger. Caramel apple late afterthought. Thick, but juicy as a linger. Incredible ice cider, though I have learned to expect no less.

750 ml bottle shared by T.J., killing it tonight. Aroma is apples, sugar, mineral water. Taste is of apples, sugar, and mild minerals. Lighter bodied with a great crispness. Snappy carbonation. Overall, not too sweet nor cloying or heavy. Very nice. Maybe just a tad of alcohol taste.
