Bomber from Bert’s. A tangy amber ale, some sweet malts, some bitter hoppiness. Clear caramel / orange color, small creamy beige head. Aroma is mostly hops, sweet malt taste follows, finish is mild bitterness.

The world is full of IPAs, full of dull IPAs indistinguishable from each other. It makes you want to even stop trying. Then something actually decent comes along when you quit looking. This beer was one of those. Picked up this beer just because it was a single in a local grocery store. Poured it half thinking it would soon be poured down the drain. But it was actually good, fun, something I liked and happy to have enjoyed. 12oz bottle. Golden color. Not a lot of lacing. Lemon hops, lemony tea biscuits, ad a slightly sweet raisin bread character. A nice mix of bright lemony hops and a slightly sweet maltiness. Neither too much, well balanced.

On tap at Bend pub. Pours out brown amber topped with a sand head. Nose is heavy malts pine hops. Taste is caramel sweet malts and a nice touch of hops.

On tap at Bend pub. Pours out a pale golden topped with a white head. Nose is supper floral perfume and sweetness. Taste is as the nose with the floral hops taking the cake.

On tap at Bend pub. Pours out a pale crisp copper topped with a white head. Nose is cardboard grass and sweetness. Taste is as the nose but with a good caramel sweetness.

On tap at Bend pub. Pours out pale straw topped with a long lasting white head. Nose is lots of crystal malts and some fresh hop notes. Taste is more of the heavy malts and a nice light hop.

On nitro at Bend pub. Pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is sweet caramel malts and a nice hop nose. Taste is more of the sweet malts a nice mellow hop end.

On tap at Bend pub. Pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is heavy roast malts vanilla and cocoa. Taste is as the nose with a nice roast malt some chocolate sweetness coffee touch of vanilla.
