Draft at Pints'n'Wine Pourhouse. Dark mahogany pour, a few bubbles. Strong fruity, Belgian aroma, plums, raisins, yeast. Taste is a heady mix of pit fruit and Belgian yeast, sweetm savory and strong. Super smooth and delicious.

Cascade Lakes Lotus Pils 4.8% 20 IBU Cloudy straw gold with a thick soapy white foam and floral perfume hop bouquet. The beer has a medium body and tangy floral character with chalky pilsner malt notes. Meh, ok.

Ever so slightly hazy peach and orange coloured body with a nice, two to three centimetre tall, just off-white head that stays afloat, but is pretty large-bubbled. Aroma of deep pineapple, tropical fruits and a lot of dank, fairly resinous hop notes with some malt and alcohol right behind. Medium-bodied; Rich pineapple and guava flavours dominate with a little bit of malts, but mainly a fruity, tropically vibe that hits, especially towards the end. Aftertaste shows the pineapple, dank hops and rich alcohol and sweetness, but less of the malts and pungency, especially at the end. Overall, this one is a nice and very pineappley, tropically beer with less of a traditional hoppiness from the hops, but more of a new school, but very island-ish themed beer that is easy-drinking, yet full-of-flavour. Great to sample, especially super fresh and without keeping it at all. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 28-March-2021 for US$2,79 sampled in my hotel room here in San Francisco, California, just before leaving from Spring Break 2021 with my wife and kids on 03-April-2021.

Noble hops and some straw. Drinks well enough for a pilsner. Golden pour with decent head. A strain of sour citrus, which cloys on aftertaste. Can.
