Copper orange with a white head. Lemony, a bit of grain, citrus. Pronounced butter finish. Rather clean overall with good hop bite.

Black with a creamy tan head. Very sweet. Some chocolate. Molasses, licorice, a bit of earth, roasted notes. A bit simple and heavy on the sweet side.

Draught (5.6%) @ the brewpub, San Diego. Aroma has cocoa, some coffee and semi-dark chocolate. Also mild wood. Flavour is dry with coffee, some chocolate and mocha. Nice, perhaps a bit too dry though.

Draught (10.3%) @ the brewpub, San Diego. Aroma has strong fruit candy tones. Flavour is sweet with apricot, fruit candy and mild alcohol. Also biscuity malt. Feels a bit like some Bush beers, just more on the sweet side.

Draught (7.0%) @ the brewpub, San Diego. Aroma has pineapple juice and grapefruit. Flavour has strong pineapple tones, grapefruit and some grassy bitterness. Also mild menthol tones. Good, nice drinkability.

Draught (5.9%) @ the brewpub, San Diego. Aroma has coffee and milk chocolate. Flavour has coffee, some semi-dark chocolate and mild ashy tones. Also butter. Grapefruity hop bite in the finish. Feels a bit thin but the coffee aromas are nice.
