Keg at the brewpub, 12/11/14. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is caramel malt, nutty, earthy hop, musty tones, light citric peel, a little overly earthy and unclean. Taste is a little insipid but improves a little on the rather uninspiring nose, citric rinds, earthy hop, malt base, vague hint of pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with muted hop bitterness. A little stale tasting, not great, way below par for style.
