Description
Brouwerij De Smedt werd opgericht omstreeks 1790. Tussen 2000 en 2003 werd ze stapsgewijs door Heineken overgenomen, wat resulteerde in een naamsverandering in Affligem Brouwerij. Op 1 mei 2010 werd het vennootschap "Affligem Brouwerij BDS" opgeheven en werd het een onderdeel van Alken-Maes c.q. Heineken België. Vandaag is de brouwerij in Opwijk vooral het kennis- en brouwcentrum voor alle Affligembieren.

33 cl bottle at home. Amber colour with medium head. Malts , caramel , citrus flavours.Medium body.Dry finish .Not bad at all.

Flesje gedronken bij E. en J.
Bleekgeel troebel bier met stevig witte schuimkraag.
Aroma is licht fruitig.
Smaak is waterig en iets fruitig.
Ook de nasmaak is waterig.

Old rating from 2017 - 330ml bottle, pours amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of apples, pears, orange, apricots, honey & bread. Medium body. Light bitter finish

I drank this beer on the TGV from Geneva to Paris.It is not my favourite Belgian Brewery. The ingredients are cheap, sugar, malty and a taste a bit metalic. 05.08.2016

On tap @ Lyon. Deep golden color, no head. Slight fruity aroma, sweet fruity taste with medium finish. Light to medium body, easily drinkable.

9/III/25 - 75cl bottle from... Colruyt maybe?, shared with Cybu & E. @ home, BB: 15/VII/26, 24.198 20:19 (2025-270)

Clear orange beer, big creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty yeasty, herbal, spicy, coriander, banana. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: bit malty, grains, sweet, very yeasty, a little bitter, spicy touch. Aftertaste: coriander, lots and lots of banana, a bit watery, floral touch, ok but not very interesting.
