Bottle pour at the DCBeer December 2025 share. Poured a pitch black color, motor oil with a tan head. Aroma was whiskey, light booze, maple. I don't get a lot of coconut, but maybe the smooth barreling kind of rounds out a lot of those additional adjuncts. This was incredibly smooth, you can tell that there's alcohol in there, but it's well masked given what this is. Dangerously smooth.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, 20251217) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey, mildly grass and light fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were honey, grass, light fruitiness and mild bitterness. Aftertaste had light fruitiness and low bitterness. A clean brew with mild flavours, which were still perhaps too strong for a BJCP American Lager.

Clear, very dark brown color with a small beige head; aroma of cocoa, slight, dryish flavor with a long, very light bitter finish; watery palate; gingerbread it ain’t, perhaps few cookie crumbs

Can shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours a hazy earthy gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has dank citrus with a bit of sweet onion and a touch of mango underlying. Flavor is similar with sweet and dank citrus, light sweet onion and a bit of tropical fruit supporting.

Strong toasted pecan aroma. Hazy amber, medium head. Cocoa, pecan, dried leaves. Light body, moderate carbonation. Toastier and drier, but still nice rich malt character

Venezuelan pilsner! So there's a crappy Venezuelan beer called Pilsner, but that's the only reference to this style there... pours golden without much head. Light Nobel hops. Cloying papery finish. Can.
Maintenance beer after a long night out with a hockey buddy, followed by a quick turnaround today. Hockey in the morning, work in the afternoon. I’m beat.
Kind of beer you need to balance yourself out.
