Description
Bird Brewery is opgericht door Ralph van Bemmel en Rik van den Berg. Beiden met een achtergrond in de bierwereld (o.a. oprichter BierLab, oud-bestuurslid PINT en gediplomeerd biersommeliers) en een duidelijke visie op bier. Kwaliteitsbieren die toegankelijk zijn voor velen én bijzonder voor de kenner.

Bird Brewery brouwt zijn bier bij Jopen en Kees.

Tap at Rootz festival. Almost clear reddish brown with small beige head. Sweet caramel, light roasted nuts, sugar, bubblegum, light old wood, dry earthy notes. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel.

From tap at Rootz, winterbierfestival. Clear reddish amber with thin white head. Sweet caramel malts, I can imagine the maple dipped pumkin pieces from the oven in this. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

7 3 8 3 14 Draft at De la Gare. Hazy amber brown with a cream coloured head. Aroma of malt, yeast, overripe dark fruit and caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Murky amber brown colour, good frothy beige head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malts, caramel, liquorice, candy. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, liquorice, caramel, sugary, bit bready. Sugary sweetbitter aftertaste, burnt caramel. Medium body, watery to sticky texture, soft carbonation, not really convincing bock.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Hotel Room tasting ] - Room #183, Woerden, Netherlands. [ As Bird Brewery Nognietnaar Huismus ].Clear medium brown amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, caramelized malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, caramelized malt, caramel, sweet malt, light nutty - hazelnuts. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170922] 6-3-7-3-14

Bottle @ home. Caramel colour with a small offehite head. Smells smokey, pumpkin spices, salty. Tastes smokey, sweet, pumpkin spices, gingerbread. I like the smokey twist. Medium body, soft carbo.

7 3 7 3 15 Bottle at Gekke Geit, Den Haag. Hazy amber brown with a small off white head. Aroma of pumpkin, spices, caramel, malt and brown sugar. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.
