Bottle from Monster Magnet, EU Local Swap. Cheers! Spiced malty aroma. Chocolate too. Opaque medium brown. Thick off-white head. Sugary sweet, with a bitter edge, more so in the finish. Cough sweets, burnt caramel, coffee. Underlying fruit syrup. Medium bodied. Sick. Verging on sticky. Soft carbonation. Long finish. Satisfying. The taste compliments the palate. Would perhaps turn down the sweetness a notch.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bottle Shop Den Bosch', bottled in October 2017. Clear, deep red with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, malty, slightly fruity and moderately spicy aroma of caramel, raisins, probably pumpkin and some spices, maybe cinnamon. Quite sweet, malty, slightly fruity and a bit spicy taste of caramel, raisins, pumpkin, cinnamon and some licorice root, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly herbal-spicy finish. Medium to full body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not very pronounced, quite pleasant though and hits the style well.

Hazy blond with thin head. Flavour is tangy and yeasty. Lightly hoppy and dry in the finish.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma is very intense with heavily roasted malts and toasted brown bread. Flavour is similar and quite bitter too. Very full flavoured

On tap at Jopen Proeflokaal. Brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of nuts, toffee, dark chocolate. Flavour follows, some tobacco, light roast. Light bodied. Another mediocre Bird beer.
