0.33 l bottle from 'Bierhuys Winkel', bottled in July 2017. Clear, very dark red with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, light beige head. Sweetish-malty, a little roasty and minimally fruity aroma of caramel, milk chocolate and traces of raisins. Rather sweet, malty, a bit roasty and slightly fruity taste of toffee, burnt sugar, nuts, some milk chocolate and a touch of raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly roasty and just a bit dry finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty, round and quaffable Bock!

0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', bottled in June 2017. Hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, moderately yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of banana, vanilla and citrus. Slightly sweetish, moderately bitter, rather fruity-grassy and slightly yeasty taste of pineapple, lemon, some banana and a touch of vanilla, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather grassy and slightly yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Somehow the taste is a lot fresher than the aroma, but overall it's a nice, refreshing Wheat Ale and another good beer from this brewery!

Bottle @ home. Clear light orange golden color, average sized white to off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell and taste are typical saison: wheat, yeast, orangepeel. Average to decent body, medium a bit firm carbonation. Solid saison but not really my kind of beer.
