0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', bottled in June 2017. Hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, moderately yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of banana, vanilla and citrus. Slightly sweetish, moderately bitter, rather fruity-grassy and slightly yeasty taste of pineapple, lemon, some banana and a touch of vanilla, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather grassy and slightly yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Somehow the taste is a lot fresher than the aroma, but overall it's a nice, refreshing Wheat Ale and another good beer from this brewery!

Bottle @ home. Clear light orange golden color, average sized white to off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell and taste are typical saison: wheat, yeast, orangepeel. Average to decent body, medium a bit firm carbonation. Solid saison but not really my kind of beer.

sampled in a blind tasting with Dr. Beer. All beers served in black glassware, no mention of what beers we were drinking beforehand. Smell is medium intense, mild grassy/herbal/spiced hoppyness. bit peppery notes even ( yeast ? ) rather herbal overall. Taste is doughy, sweet ( malty ) rather thick decent bitterness. pretty heavy mouthfeel. not very refreshing. Sticky aftertaste, of maltose.

Almost no head but greyish-ochre rim; foxy brown-amber beer. Almonds, marzipan, sweet toasted malts, Belgian buns. Almonds, amandine, rosewater²; bit of parsley retronasal. Medium bodied, quite slick to even sticky. Again too sweet, certainly for a not overly strong Bock. If Bird had the same inspiration for the recipes as for their fantastic names, this brewery would shine above all. But alas... 5/4/6/3/12

Head gone in seconds, orange-copperish, clear beer. Caramel, almonds, frangipane. Smelling pretty sweet. Bitterish, almonds, frangipane, marzipan. Getting sweeter in time, but mainly a watery finish and empty MF. Low carbonation. Poor, uninspired brew. 5/4/3/10
