Sample at the Sandusky Kroger bar. Pours a pale, ginger ale color, with lots of bubbles. The nose is smooth vanilla, clover honey, allspice, orange peel, and hay. Sweet and syrupy, with a nice spice. Very light body. Quite fizzy and crisp. This is a light, thoroughly enjoyable mead.

Sampled from a 12 oz can this cyser poured a red-orange color with a trace foamy white head that faded instantly and left no lacing. The aroma was musty with tannin and just a hint of fruit. The flavor was berry, wood and mustiness. Medium length finish. Light to medium body.

Sampled on draft at Whistle & Keg this beer poured a dark plum color with a trace foamy pink head that left no lacing. The aroma was musty with grape, tannin and almost smoke. The flavor was chocolate, smoke and grape. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Disappointing.
