Bottle, 9.0%. Dusty and slightly bready aroma. Hazy golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is nicely malty and very bready. Has a great mouthfeel. I really like this one.

I’m not sure why the ratings are so horribly low here. The beer isnt super exciting. But it is clean and has a nice mild flavour to it. D&S Dresden (3.4 dec 2018) Again in craftbier shop advent. It’s thin and boring. But okay. Lowered to 3.3. (Dec 2020) Same place, raised to 3.4

Von ganz unten meines Kühlschranks hol ich die dunkle Eule hoch - genau zur richtigen Jahreszeit. In der Nase röstig, aber schwach. Im Trunk sehr wässrig, leicht röstig, süß, wenn dann nur sehr schwach stoutig. Eher ein dunkles Lager. Und mit Blick aufs Label - arg, okay, Bitburger halt.

Sampled @ Craftbier Messe Mainz 2018. A clear amber beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramelish malt, grains, resinous hops. Taste of caramelish malt, nuts, mild bitterness, watery mouthfeel. Nothing Special!
