(swing top bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a blond medium-foamy head. Yeasty and sweet grainy malty aroma with a present wheat-character, notes of banana, vanilla and clovy spice. Moderately sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Yeasty grainy malty and moderately wheaty taste with banana and phenolic spices; medium-dry, sweet and slightly sour-fruity finish. A tad too yeasty for my liking but still a mellow Hefeweizen. 08.IX.10

(swing top bottle) Hazy, deep golden colour with a big but not very persistent, slightly tanned frothy head. Yeasty wheat-malty aroma with grainy and slightly cara-malty notes, as well as a fruity touch of ripe bananas, cloves and vanilla. Mildly sweet flavour, light bodied but also not watery, mellow carbonation. Rounded wheaty and grainy, slightly cara-malty taste with moderately notes of banana; wheaty and slightly fruity, also mildly spicy finish. 08.IX.10

(swing top bottle) Slightly hazy, dark brown colour with a beige and short foamy head. Slightly sugary toast-malty aroma with notes of caramel/Bavarian Blockmalz-bonbons, accompanied by shy herbal spices and notes of alcohol. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a very calm, even a bit flat carbonation. Robust toasty malty taste with caramel and notes of molasses; sweetish and slightly toasty and faint hop bitter finish with caramel and hints of alcohol in the aftertaste. Not overly convincing Doppelbock, at least by Camba Bavaria Standards. 29.IX.10

Slightly toasted malty aroma with a tinge of caramel, subtle berry-fruity notes and traces of chocolate. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly toasted malt character with notes of caramel and chocolate; medium-dry, slightly toasted malty finish with a tinge of chocolate in the aftertaste. 29.IX.10

(swing top bottle) Slightly unclear, pale golden colour with a big and persistent foamy white head. Citric and slightly herbal hoppy aroma with flowery notes and a honey-ish pale malty background. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a mild carbonation. Well rounded pale malty base with notes of biscuits and hone on the one hand and an aromatic citric and herbal hops character on the other; almost dry, mildly malty and noble hoppy finish. A very pleasant Bavarian Pilsener. 29.IX.10

Red-orange shot deep brown beer with a huge, pale beige head. Sweet, nutty, ever so slightly roasted nose, with mild toffee. Sweet-roasted flavours with some dry-fruity notes, as stored plums. Medium bodied, quite slick; aftertaste is sweeter. Very drinkable porter, which is a rare beast.

Draught Thick yellow head over near-black beer. Chocolate, lightly-burnt notes, mocha. Fully roasted/burnt notes in the taste, but with a milder, coloured malts & chocolate finish, dry. Well bodied, if not heavy. Ends on a roasted, near roast-meat note retronasal. Very good, if not exceptionaly strong stout. Thanks for the taste, Eric!

Good lace from yellowish head, very ample; light amberish beer. Dry fruity hopsmell, grapefruit, flowery and delicate. Grapefruity, intense USA-hops, with a small, cookielike finish. Passion fruit retronasal. Light to medium bodied, but quite oily slick. Very good, if not revolutionary - for the USA, for Germany it IS revolutionary - IPA. I have some doubts as to the claimed 7.5%, seems lighter. Thanks for the taste, Eric!

Bügelverschlußflasche: Light greenish-golden, a bit unclear, bigger and slowly collapsing white head; citrussy hoppy nose with a light, but distinctive pale malt underneath, honeyish and bisquity aromas included; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, very soft; slightly lingering citrussy hoppy finish. Great Bavarian Pilsner.....
