Description
With a foundation in homebrewing in 1992, Paul Kavulak set about to experiment within a hobby that would prove both entertaining and, at times, refreshing. Over a period of roughly 13 years, and with the able assistance of his wife Kim, this activity led to the opening of the Nebraska Brewing Company’s brewpub in Shadow Lake Towne Center in Papillion, Nebraska, on November 17, 2007. A new production brewery and taproom were opened in January of 2014. Located on the south side of the Omaha Metro, but still a large part of the Omaha Craft Beer scene.

This was poured into a weizen glass.
The appearance was a semi-clear golden color with a one finger white foamy messy lacing trying to cling in parts but slides in other parts.
The smell had a full banana wheat to clove, sweet and spicy and full but not heavy.
The taste was sweet and spicy and brought in the wheat to balance nicely and broaden the aftertaste. A quick somewhat dry sweet and spicy finish ran it out.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a extremely nice sessionability. Carbonated nicely, this one takes the spice and the sweet to roll somewhat gently across my tongue.
Overall, this was a long time want of mine and I’m super glad I finally got to try it as if I had access to it all of the time, I’m pretty sure this would be all I would drink in the Summer.

Bottle. Cloudy deep golden color, fluffy white head. Aroma of peppery stone fruit, decent funk. Taste is black pepper, hay, straw, fruit. Tasty.Earlier Rating: 10/10/2011 Total Score: 4Bottle. Cloudy straw colored, fluffy white head with solid lacing. Aroma of light spice and summer fruit. Apricot really comes out in the flavor, more like dried apricots and white wine. Interesting stuff. Fruit is not overwhelming, and neither is the barrel.

Thanks Scott.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving a light foamy lacing sticking around the sides of the glass decently.
The smell had a semi - sweet malty citrus over top of a light piney bitter hops.
The taste took all of those previously mentioned flavors to blend nicely. A dry sweet citrus aftertaste leads to a decent sticky finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation good for the style and for me as it’s not too sharp.
Overall, I say this was a decent APA that I could have again.

750 ml bottle carried home by Adrien. Hazy gold/ orange color with fluffy white head aroma is yeasty with very mild white grapes. The flavor has a nice Sauvignon blanc grapes, with a hop bitterness thought the center of the brew that gives a nice balance. The oak with mild yeast has a lasting affect. The carbonation gives a lively mouthfeel that helps the overall rating.
