[330ml bottle, gift from my wife] My wife bought this for me because the bottle amused her - to me it looked less like a buddha & more like a mutant bogey! Neither she nor I expected much of the beer inside. It poured pale gold, with a thin white head, and thin prickly carbonation. It’s very, very watery indeed, yet manages to retain a reasonable floral and grass aroma and flavour, with slight citrus hints. It’s quite refreshing actually - I’ve had far worse lagers, and it’s better than the bottle suggests.

Bottled (BZ; BB 12/2010)
Pale yellow color, decent white head. Cardboardish aroma with notes of wet hops or grass. Fizzy carbonation. Harsh and a bit malty. Light bitterness. Watery. Suprisingly closer to Western bulk lager than Chinese/Asian corn/maize stuff. The best part of this is its pretty bottle.

Pale orange, an inch of dense white head. High bead. Aroma of light honey, orange blossoms and grass. Watery body. Gentle sweetness with no bitterness but a slightly drying finish. Has that rice note you get with Asian lagers. This is pretty fresh and much better than I imagined - what malt there is is fairly clean; the hop aroma has no trace of skunk; it’s not very sweet; and it’s not dominated by rice (or corn).

Light straw. Thin head, but it falls. Very grainy, appley aroma. Quite watery character with maybe a hint of pine, buried deep in the back.

Bottle bought at ASDA. Golden lager with slight carbonation. Utterly forgetable with no hops evident and some thin malt sweetness. Poor.

Bottled. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of citrus and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemon and light notes of citrus, leading to a dry lemony finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
