Revived as a gift. A quite nice surprise, a really decent witbier with some citrus and coriander.

Clear pale to medium golden colour, good frothy white head, recedes quickly, light lacing. Aroma sweet malts, grain, corn, bit grassy. Flavour medium sweet and slightly bitter, grainy. Very light sweetbitter and short finish, bit metallic. Something to forget (despite the good intentions with the eko approach).

Tap at Bastion. Sulfury eggy yeasty soury stink. Hazy yellow colour. Stable white head. Taste is same as aroma, rather bitter, very weird wheat beer. Bad bad.

Tap at Bastion, Bratislava. Hazy golden color with thick white head. Ugly yeasty aroma. Taste, wheat, yeast, light spices. Bad.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of graininess, a bit of corn. Sweetish grainy flavor with some corn and a mildly bitterish finish with a metallic note. Light-bodied. Drinkable, but the regular Svitle is better.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear golden, below average white head. The aroma starts distinctly cidery, but clears up after a while leaving apple juice and some fusels. Tastes hot, though not straight up ethanol. Big sweetness, sweet apple juice with a malic acidity. A hint of vinegar and salt. It is certainly crappy, but definitely not plain „rocket fuel”, as one would expect from a 10% abv strong lager brewed with sugar.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear golden-amber, white frothy head. A weak, but distinctly catty aroma and a touch of alcohol. The taste less sweet than your average strong lager, with a strong and harsh green vegetable hop finish. Less alcoholic than others. Sucks, anyway.

Bottle shared at a tasting at troubles’s place. Clear golden. Grainy aroma with some DMS and a bit of hay. Sweetish and grainy flavor with corn and a slightly bitterish finish. Light-bodied. Drinkable. Could be worse.

BOTTLE 50 CL. It does indeed have some wit-like aromas: fruit (apple?), orange peel and even coriander, but also some sulfur and a touch of alcohol. The taste is even worse: dry, harsh fenolic bitterness, some light but harsh acidity and an astringent and dry-alcoholic finish — like a poor homemade white wine fermented with too much table sugar. On top of all, everything is kinda dirty. Fail.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Fresh. Cooked fruit aroma, apple pie and some stale beer or wine. Very watery, light stale notes in the taste too. Lightly salty with hints of baking soda and a touch of bitterness in the finish. Very neutral, and lacking those typical non-alcoholic flavours of unfermented wort and tomato juice. Nevertheless, it sucks.
