On tap at the brewpub. A dense dark beige head sits on a mostly clear dark brown body. Cute lacing. The aroma is roasted and nutty, with toffee, some dark chocolate and a very light vegetal touch. It's smirk and full bodied, with a nice carbonation. Quite dry, and gently bittered. Nuts, toffee, roasted malts and some chocolate in the flavor. A bit vegetal in the finish. Except for the vegetal touch, it's sure a fine one. 231208

Tap @ the brewpub. Almost clear amber body under a dense, fine lacing pale beige head. Aroma is true to style, malty with toast and a hint of chocolate. Taste has a fine balance, medium sweet brown malt, toast, nuts and hint of chocolate and fruity hops. Moderate bitterness. Balanced body with fine aftertaste. A nice, tasty, refreshing brown ale. Don’t see them too often anymore.

Festival sample, Sørlandets Matfestival 2023. Slightly unclear blood red body with practically no head. Aroma has acidic cherry with a hint of almond. Taste is sweet and acidic cherry, bitter cherry stone. Bitter and refreshing, no yoghurt flavor. Medium body with a tart, sour finish. Quite straight forward but nice and tasty, very refreshing.

Festival sample, Sørlandets Matfestival 2023. Clear deep golden body with a nice tan head. Appealing malt aroma with some grain and fresh grass. Refreshing taste, sweet malt, distinct grain, some yeast, flowers and pleasant bitterness. Nice and refreshing lager.

On tap at Sørlandet Matfestival. A clear one, deep golden in color with a dense finger thick off-white head. Nice lacing. Piney, resiny and lightly grassy, with a touch of bready malts. It's full bodied, very lightly warming and with a s pleasant carbonation level. Quite bitter flavor, with a decent sweetness in the back. Piney and resiny, with some grass and pale malts. Long bitter finish. Perhaps a bit too bitter, but guess it's still a bit fresh. 230707

It's full bodied, perhaps a bit sweet, with a nice carbonation. Pale malts, bread, hay, grass and some fruityness. Quite fruity finish. On tap at Sørlandet Matfestival. A hazy light red beer with a small white head. Berries, hints of vinegar and oak in the aroma. No oak added though. A very light malty touch too. It's lightly tart and lemony in the mouth, softly carbonated and dry, with a tannin feeling. Cherry, red berries and a hint of grass and pale malts. Some vinegar. Long finish. Pleasant, straight forward and yet complex. 230707
