On tap at Haand Festl An orange colored beer topped by a short lived finger thick off-white to beige head. Sweetish aroma with alcohol, pine cones and orange zest. Not as malty as expected, neither aroma nor flavor. It's full-bodied, warming and nicely carbonated. Sweet, but not sticky, with resiny, orange zesty hops and a nice bitterness. Long finish. A bit alcoholic this one, as expected considering the ABV, but it's nice anyway. 170527

On tap at Haand Fest. A lightly hazy golden colored beer with a small off-white head leaving curtains. Fruity aroma with citrus, pine cones, grapefruit notes and some grass. Not much on the malty side, neither in the aroma nor in the flavor. It's dry and full-bodied, with a nice carbonation level. A bit low on the bitterness, but with the low level of sweetness, that's just fine. Citrus, pine cones and a lasting finish. Close to easy drinkable this one, at least sort of quenching. 170527

Appearance: Black color with a beige head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Chocolate, roasted malt and coffee.
Palate: Medium (+) body. Ok balanced sweetness and bitterness. Soft to average carbonation. Semi dry texture.
Taste: Balanced and nice chocolate, roasted malt, some licorice and coffee.
Overall impression: Nice and tasty porter. Quite easy drinkable.
