On tap @ Taps. Oh, looks really nice this. Glowing amber in color, it has a little blur and a initially medium sized off-white head quickly going bubbly and kinda sidesticking. It smells like nosing down a freshly opened vacuumed hop bag. Lovely and superbly intense! It's sweet, sticky and malty I addition to the massive rush of hops. Sweet raisins and it smells more like a really well mattured barley wine than a 3x IPA. Mighty and really good aroma! It tastes pretty darn good also. It's one of those licorice-hopped ones. When the amount of hops reaches a certain level it becomes like licorice in the taste. This one has that for sure. It's really thick and almost sticky in the mouth and it's soft and prickling on the bubbles. Alcohol strong for sure but not boozy. Warming also. Malt intense, hop intense and it's just turned up to near 11 in all ways. Really good! 30.07.2016

On tap @ Taps, Trondheim. This is a cloudy one, dark golden in the glass and a nice big old off-white head safely placed on the top. Lots of dots down the sides of the glass. It smells superbly peachy and Citra infused this. Sweet citrussy, a lots of piney hops. Inviting aroma for sure. Tastes pretty darn good also. Again, lots of peachy tropical hops. Citrus and birch. It has a good oily texture in the mouth and it's just about average on the carbonation. Easy to drink and really well tasting. 30.07.2016

From tap at Antikvariatet Trondheim with UKM people 25.06.15. Almost clear golden. Persistent white head and lacing. Strong aroma and taste of tropical fruits, papaya, mango, wine gum, dried fruits and a hint of soap. An excellent pale ale from a new brewery. Very refreshing.

Goldens with a white head - Good fruity hop aroma - Good malt body to support a nice hop profile with a lot of tropical fruit and some bitterness - The hops goes into the finish with tropical fruits and bitterness that ends dry - This was good

Bra kombinasjon av humle og rug i en fyldig ale. Kanskje litt mye humle, men kan man anklage en IPA for å ha for mye humle.

Nydelig phase-over fra bourbon til stout, uten noen kantede kornsmaker. Imponerende rund smak. Jeg bøyer meg støvet.

Tested 28 Jan 2016 Fine strong ale or old ale. Fairly flat, lots of barrel aging notes, and really good as a winter warmer. Great craftmanship.

On tap at Taps Trondheim. Aroma is malty with a definite caramel character along with some toasted bread and light nut notes. Some raisin notes as well as faint cherry. Medium light hop notes with mostly a woody, resin note but also some light grass and citrus. Hints of alcohol. Pours a fairly clear, red with some gold and copper hues and a large, thick light tan head with good retention as it recedes to a thin film. Medium lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with a nice caramel character. Some lighter toasted bread and cracker notes. Medium light raisin and fig with some light nuttiness. Medium light bitterness with some light alcohol spice. Some moderate woodsy, earthy hop notes with a bit of spice and pine resin. Light citrus. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice red ale with a strong malt character and some good, woodsy hop notes to balance the sweetness of the malt.

On tap at Taps Trondheim. Aroma is straight chocolate Teddy Graham crackers. Some light roast notes and chocolate with medium high cracker. A bit of an odd malt note, possibly a staleness issue. Pours brown to dark brown with a medium large, very thick, tan head that slowly recedes. Medium small lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with some graham cracker and toasted bread notes. Medium light roast and chocolate, but again a bit stale. Low bitterness. Some light dark fruit character and fairly nutty. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and low,but noticeable alcohol warmth. Overall, and alright beer but the malt profile seems slightly off. Some chocolate and roast, but also a weird nutty note with some cracker character causing a stale-like note. I just realized it reminds me a lot of old peanut butter cups, the ones my grandma had sitting in a jar for a year.
