22oz bottle pours a clear orange with some creamy, white head. Nose is OK, some smoke, a little butter, mild stale grist, smoked almond. Flavor has Parmesan rind, smoked almonds, mild malt, earthy leaves. Dry finish.

Location: Sampled at Tap NY, 4/25/15 and a 12 oz bottle brought back from Tap on 4/27/15
Aroma: Clean malty aroma, some cereal, grains, mild spice, toast, and a little bit of earthy hop.
Appearance: Pours a murky darker orange color with a small, beige colored head and mild lace.
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, clean, not super sweet, grains and a little spice.
Palate: This one is light-medium bodied with a lively carbonation, and a lightly dry finish.
Overall Impression: Another enjoyable beer from these guys. Clean and flavorful. Glad to have gotten to try this, and thanks to the brewer for the bottle! It was fun talking NJ with you and enjoying your malt beverages.

Thought this was a really solid smoked beer from a brand new brewery. Very nice stuff. I look forward to trying more from these guys once they really get up and running.
