Location: Sampled at Tap NY, 4/27/13

Aroma: The nose is roasted malts, chocolate malts, and a bit of oats
Appearance: It pours a a light brownish color with a small brown head and light lace
Flavor: The taste is similar, it is lightly sweet with a malty flavor and minimal bitterness
Palate: The body is fairly light for the style, it isn't really watery, but it is soft and easy drinking
Overall Impression: I thought this was an okay stout, but it didn't really have a ton for flavor. Still though, it was solid enough that I could certainly drink it again.

Location: Sampled at Tap NY, 4/27/13

Aroma: The nose is fairly weak, but there are perceivable notes of rye mat and
Appearance: The pour (as the name suggests) is a reddish color with a small beige head
Flavor: The flavor of this one is on the lighter side, with caramel notes, light rye, and light hops
Palate: The body is fairly light, it has average-plus carbonation, and a thin finish
Overall Impression: I didn't find this one to be a bad beer, but it it's just kind of a dull example of the style. There's potential here, it just isn't all that interesting.
