Thanks Andy.
This was poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a glossy rich burnt orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Some stringy lace.
The aroma seemed to hit upon a delicate blend of floral to fruity esters rolling across an earthy to biscuity yeastiness.
The flavor was malty initially with some of the floral and fruity qualities trying to come out but ultimately staying mostly subdued. Mild aftertaste of biscuits and cereal. Quick malty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a clean sessionably smooth feel about it. ABV felt fine.
Overall, pretty good ESB well worthy of having again.

Taster pour at Craft Beer Race New Haven. Appearance is pale straw yellow, with fizzy white ring of head. Aroma is piney, grassy, herbs. Taste is same as aroma with a little resin. Palate is medium bodied with average texture, soft carbonation, finish is like taste with resin bitter finish. Overall, some decent complexity here. Mildly more bitter than I’d like.
