Pint can from Total Wine Brookield, 11/6/21. Hazy orange, large fizzy tan head, good retention. Very weak melon aroma. Taste is dank, melon, pale malt. Juicy. Very one-note and bland. And no, just did a smell and taste test and I have not lost my taste and smell to COVID. Well made, but, not much here.

Pint can from Total Wine Roseville, 4/26/21. Hazy brown, large white head, good retention. Aroma of pine, earth, kibble. Taste is spruce, stone fruit, cherry, grain and that kibble thing again. Weird. Mild bitterness, hints of booze but generally well hidden. Decent.

Bought this as a mindless movie sipper but GOOD LORD itβs a diet beer. Fml. The drain got the most of it.

16oz can. Offputting aroma, something not right at all there, garbage hot vomit tones. The taste is not much better. A real failure. Weak brewing. Bad yeast, really poor execution. After this and their Belgian Stout, I will not be buying any more Blacklist product. A horrible example of the style.

16oz can. Massive rusty beige head on top of a deep black body. Huge roasty specialty malt tones. At 8%, it really isn't that imperial, and therefore drinks a lot easier. Still rich and full bodied. Rich cocoa, mild warmth from the alcohol. Thick and sweet, but lacks that extra alcohol/malt depth. OK.

The Aromas are mainly boilerplate beer of malt, yeast some hops and hints of Belgian ale qualities. Flavors are like nose, balanced Bittersweet at first but with growing lingering bitterness. good carbonation, okay buddy and finish. Not really worth seeking out except for a completionist.
