Description
Belenium is an artisanal brewery rooted in Beaune, a town of history(s) in the heart of Burgundy. The name of our microbrewery is a tribute to Belenos, Celtic god of light revered 2000 years ago and who gave his name to our city.

In 2014, Alexandre Faupin, Nicolas Seyve and Jean-David Camus decided to found Belenium, the first (micro) craft brewery in Beaune. These three Beaune residents of origin or adoption have decided to bring to life through this local project the values that are dear to them and reflect their environment: quality and flavor of products, use of local resources, combination of tradition and 'innovation.

At the 8th tasting (round 1), held at Vlada’s Beerville pub in Belgrade-Serbia. Bottle courtesy of Marko’s father directly from France, ciao Vladimir (budi dobar ajde). Pours orange-golden color, a bit hazy, bright with a small and gassy white foamy head. Nose: yeast, pretty much on the wild yeast side, spices, lemon zest. Nice aroma. Mouth: a bit of a flat taste of a Belgian blond, boring with a feel of an old drink left there for ages. Bread crumb, cider-like.
