Bottled. Hazy golden with creamy head. Some apple and citric acid in the nose. Sweet and rounded, nice malt character. Some grass. Low bitterness. Seems a bit oxidized.

Light golden colour, crystal clear with an average sized white head. Smells of malt, a bit of sweetness and a very small amount of hops. Light-bodied; Strong metallic twang, some fruityness in the taste as well as the small amount of hops and malt. Aftertaste, bittering from the metallic twang and from the malt. Overall, not the worst beer I could imagine, but not a great pils. I sampled this out of a 650 mL bottle given to me by Cartoon_Khaki in Canada....Thanks!

This will leave you scratching your head until it's bloody and raw. The aroma is all blackberry. Well, maybe some raspberry, but you get what I'm getting at. The palate is APA - lots of cedary hops, robust bitterness and a lightly toasted malt backbone - nicely balanced. Then it finishes up with those berries again - which actually works quite well, as the combination of hop bitterness and juicy berry fruitiness makes for a hell of a refreshing pint. I honestly don't know if there is actual fruit in here or not - it could just be a really distinctive yeast. At any rate, this is quite hoppy by Ontario standards and a landmark for Mike Robinson, whose other beers are very skipable.

Malt accented, slight touch of spicy hop, and dark, stewed fruits. Maybe some caramel.
