On tap at Pizza Port San Clemente, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is full of rich, fresh roasted coffee, with a touch of cocoa and caramel to provide sweetness. Flavour boasts a powerful, rich coffee character—almost like cold brew coffee—with just enough sweetness. Rich, powerful, yet balanced. Excellent.

Taster at the Ocean Beach location. Pours a clear, golden color, with a small, rocky, white head. The nose is lemon cream, cloves, menthol, and white sugar. Sweet and phenolic, with a touch of bitterness. Medium body, with a syrupy, slick palate. This is an interesting and quality beer.

On tap (as Claudies Lager IPL) at the brewery on 19th Dec 2019. Light golden pour, clean and clear; white head. Solid hop aroma and taste, mild sweetness from some malt action, refreshing without any real citrus hop influence (makes a change!).
