Tall can. Extra in a trade. 11/3/2017 can date. stored in the fridge since Thanksgiving. dark brown to black, 1 finger big bubbly head. maybe it's just sinuses but not a lot of coffee just a toasty bitter aroma. very roasty coffee, vanilla, mild bitterness at the finish solid beer! best split 2 ways.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma is rather cooked chocolate caramel. Med minus body. LIghtly hoppy in an earthy way. Very mildly chocolate. Yet the flavor as a whole is substantial. A rather pleasing departure from all those higher ABV brews. We need more of these - with the caveat that they need to taste this good.

Poured up at AZ Strong Beer Fest 2017, and affirmed by the Pizza Port staff pouring that this comes from the Bressi Ranch location, where it exhibits a crystal clear deep gold body that has thin copper hues and supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up a little tangerine citrus, a little spicy hoppiness and then a light sense of grassiness. This is smooth and rich with a juicy tangerine to tangelo citrus and then sliding into a bitter spicy slightly grassy hoppiness. To midway the hops really start hitting rich and deep with bitterness and just enough juiciness to maintain a sense of hop balance.
