From tap at Ølbaren. Pours clear and golden deep hazzlenut brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma is roasted caramelish and distinct hoppy. Fruity, caramelish and roasted. Lasting bitter and rather hoppy. Smooth fruity and bitter finish.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, grapefruit, peach, moderate yeasty, overriped orange - mandarin. Flavor is moderate to heaavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, yeasty, peel bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101024]

On tap Brickskeller DC. Pours a clear, burnt orange with a lacing white head. A more piney nose, more malt too, a little perfume. Flavor is malty, lots of carapils, light citrus, orange, pine, spice. Medium bodied, dry finish. Lightly metallic. More of an English Pale feel. Different, but I liked it. A nice roasty flavor meshed well with the bitterness.
