Bottle from The Beerhive. Deep brown body with a thin off-white head. Faint carbonation. Aroma of peach, caramel, roasted malts and tea. Flavour of toffee, apricot, resin and a peppery hop finish. Thin to medium body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Probably the darkest IPA I’ve tried - it looks like a Brown Ale or even a lighter Black IPA. Overall, it’s quite malty and heavy going. I’d like to try this on cask.
