Description
Arriaca was a Celtiberian settlement that preceded the city of Guadalajara. Its exact location remains a matter of debate, but undoubtedly somewhere, near our brewery, under our cereal fields, we find our origins, the ones which give name to our beer today. Arriaca creates authentic and original beers, made with patience and respect for the process. No tricks, no preservatives.

330ml bottle, L180355, at The Grill in Albir. Dissipating, bubbly fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. A ruby glint to a black coloured body. Roasted grainy malt aromas, hints of black chocolate. Decent taste profile with dark chocolate, prunes, and bread. Roasted finish, warming down the swallow. Does not feel that strong, however. Perfect as a dessert at the restaurant. (Albir 12.04.2019).

330ml can at Lolita Canalla. Pours a frothy pearl white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Clear golden-brown body. Inviting smell of peaches and mid-sweet orange. Succulent hop fruity flavours with orange to the fore, subdued malty sweetness beneath. Rounded mid-dry fruity bitterness to the finish. Fine depth. Decent version of the style. (Altea 10.04.2019).

Can 33 cl. Closer to ruby color, clear, good yellowish foam. Aroma: sweetish, various types of caramel and dark malt, fresh fruity and citrusy hops, light shades of pine needles. Taste: struggle of bitter hops and sweet malt, candy and a little pastry with caramel are replaced by grapefruit, pine, fruit, light earthiness, warming, smooth, clean and quite suitable.

Draught from a sample tray at Baixa Brewing Company in Albir. Covering white head to a clear dark golden body. Lacing rings down the glass. Vague grainy nose, distant hints of lemony hops. Moderate taste of mild lemon, grain, and wheat. Short mid-sweet fruity end. So and so. (Albir 28.03.2019).
