33 cl bottle bought at Mamá Cecilia, Alcalá de Henares, served in large snifter. Pours very dark brown (almost black) with a tan head that disappears rapidly and completely. Medium-intensity aromas: licorice, espresso coffee, smoke, leather, dark cocoa, plum. Mouthfeel is creamy, velvety, powerful and very bitter (even though well balanced, so it doesn't stand out drastically.) Very long finish with hints of charcoal and pure chocolate.

33 cl can served in large snifter. It pours dark ruby, with some honey-hued shades. Tan head vanishes quickly and leaves a long-lasting ring. Aroma is cherry drop, bitter herbs, horse blanket, funky towel, gym locker room. Not especially pleasant. Taste is sweetish, powerful and very bitter; palate is velvety, soft carbonated and long-lasting. What a pitty that funky nose.

Botella 33 cl XIV cata Ratebeer Asturias en Cimmeria 04..02..2018 (r05). Color bronce turbio con poca espuma beige. Sabores maltosos tostados con toques de caramelos tostados dulces. Recuerdos de mieles. Especias. Cuerpo medio algo espumoso y cierta densidad con buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio. Mas menos fina. Buena.

hazy orange, smooth orange head. dough, flowery hops, stale hops, faint sweet malts in the aroma. good malty and rye malty base, smooth and well rounded, hops are flowery and fairly bitter, but in a controlled way that actually fits quite well with the malts.

Pinta en el Kraken 22..11..2017. (r20). Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro persistente. Sabores maltosos tostados con toques de caramelos también tostados. Ligeros cacaos y vainillas. Café torrefacto. Cuerpo medio a intenso más líquido de lo esperado, fácil de beber. Buena pero se esperaba algo más. Buena. Para repetir.

Brown color with a minimal and quickly diminishing off-white head. Aroma has notes of toasted malts, caramel, spiced hints with a presence of Belgian yeast. Flavor is slightly sweet at the beginning, caramelish, some toffee, alcohol presence but mostly hidden by toasted notes. Warm final, caramel, toasty. Quite similar as the best BSA I've ever tasted.
