Description
Arriaca was a Celtiberian settlement that preceded the city of Guadalajara. Its exact location remains a matter of debate, but undoubtedly somewhere, near our brewery, under our cereal fields, we find our origins, the ones which give name to our beer today. Arriaca creates authentic and original beers, made with patience and respect for the process. No tricks, no preservatives.

Can - Light dank and woody hops with some caramel. Cloudy gold with a rich off white head. Much like it smells. Caramel is forward and bitterness is mellow, pretty old school.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Stas. Yellow. Aroma of grains, citrus, a bit of grass. Flavor has some sweetish grainy and bready malt, and a bitterish hops finish, a bit citric and grassy. Quite light-bodied.

Ambar profunda, buena espuma. Aroma intenso a lúpulos. En boca base acaramelada eclipsada por fuerte sabor a lúpulo, pomelo, floral, matices no demasiado definidos. Lúpulo. Cierto tono dulce subyace, en medio de un amargor intenso.

21.11.2016, tap @ Cerveceria Arte&Sana:
Nice light brown creamy longlasting head. Aroma is mild roasted, dark malts, dark sugar, butterscotch, lactose, milk chocolate, grass, minerals, bark, hints of licorice and coffee. Taste is dry boozy, weeds, alcohol, dark malts, bark, burnt grain, dark sugar, paper, sour coffee, grass, minerals. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh mouthfeel. Just boring.
