Bottle from Colmado l'estuca @Girona, 2015, brought home from the holiday. Pours orange with a lot of yeast floaties and a lot of carbonation and a huge off-white head. Aroma of citrus , a lot of orange, grassy, bread, exotic fruits, sweet. A lot of mouthfilling carbonation, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, pepper, light caramel, yeast, malts. Medium body... Bottle courtesy of Summer Euro-Santa. Thank you! Pours ugly murky burnt yellow with a very small offwhite head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is vile... malty and tiny grassy with caramel, grapefruit juice, moist grass, pine needles, frozen strawberries, rotten meat, boiled green peas and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, slightly sour, heavy bitter, tiny malty and grassy. Mouthfeel is viscous, syrupy, astringent and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sour and bitter with caramel, grapefruit, moist grass, pine needles, moist soil, strawberries and lemon zest. Something went terribly wrong here... Called ultramorta and even smells of decomposing flesh...

Ambar marrón. Turbia. Poso. Buena espuma duradera: Exrtaño aroma, entre galleta y toques yerbales no demasiado agradables. Bien de cuerpo y textura. Muy lupulada en boca, de gran amargor en lo alto del paladar. Sabor raro, cítrico, eucalipto. Sobre todo amarga. Mejora en cada trago, pero no sé… no me acaba de convencer

Bottled, thanks fombe89! Hazy amber, rich head. Fruity nose with some grapefruit peels. Sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramelly with some syrup and grapefruit. Long bitter finish. Heavy and fruity IPA.
