Draught at the brewpub. Clear mid brown. Fruiy chocolatey nose. Quite sweet and intensely roasty with soft mouthfeel and near full body. Notes of prunes before a finish with licorice and good bitterness.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear pale golden. Flowery nose with some lychee. Medium sweet with some grainy malt and vague notes of vanilla. Spicy, hop-bitter finish. A drinkable blonde ale with a fair bit of character.

[Growler] A hazy amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity, but also prunes and some burnt detergents. The flavor is dry roasted and very spicy - with coriander standing out, which makes me think of a Belgian Ale. The end is very dry.
