Roasty dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, roasted coffee beans, mocha, dark chocolate, a touch of treacle, molasses, Kahlúa. Taste is moderately bitter, roasty dark malty, notes of cofee, roasted coffee beans, mocha, dark chocolate, subtle sweetness, hints of Kahlúa; a warming touch of alcohol in the finish. Full body, oily texture, oily, minimally sicky palate.

Pint can, canned 04/04/2018, via trade, thanks Arturo. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme offre un bouquet léger d'agrumes - léger fruité, note verte avec léger effet grains en rétro-nasal; Palais est modéré axé sur un fruité houblonné plutôt US avec une petite pointe épicée en fin de bouche, le tout sous couvert d'une fine note douce maltée. Retrouve un effet un peu résineux.

From tap at The Halford, Santa Clara. Almost clear golden color with white head. Hoppy and malty aroma, pine, grass. Light sweet and heavy bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bomber from Hy Vee Madtown. Hazy yellow, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of dank grapefruit. Taste is grapefruit zest, lemon juice, dank, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy.

Bottle. Cloudy golden body. Frothy white head, lasting. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, light tropical fruit, light floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/slick texture, lively carbonation. Taste of bitter citrus, light butter, grapefruit rind, lemon. At 5.3%, a bit over the upper limit of a session IPA. Good flavor, but slightly buttery slick mouthfeel in the aftertaste is off-putting.

Clear dark brown pour, not too foamy. Nose is dry, roasty and with light caramel. Taste has light chocolate roast, a bit ashy and dry. Feels much lighter than this 8% that it actually has. Nice dry finish.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours somewhat hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is mostly tropical. Med body or so. Flavor is bitter, approaching dank, and now seems rather citrus, but my first, fleeting impression was pineapple and perhaps mango. It is dry. It is bitter. Towards dank. Very nice for such low ABV.
