On tap. Pours with a clear orange hued body with a lasting white head. Aromas are grassy, fruity, lots of citrus and zest, tangerine, grapefruit, mild tamarind and a touch of caramel. Flavors are grassy and hoppy, citrus and zesty, mild caramel, mild alcohol, and some dry hopped grassy qualities. Warming with a medium body.

On tap. Clear amber hue with a tan head. Aromas are fruity, hoppy, citrusy, pine, tamarind, overripe, fruit, crystal malt and some esters. Flavors are a bit too much caramel for my taste in hoppy beers. Tea like, fruity, citrus and light topical hop character. Fuller bodied with moderate carbonation.

On tap. Paler hue than the regular BA OE. Reddish body with moderate head. Aromas are fruitier and stickier than BA OE. Marmalade, caramel and mild barrel. Flavors are boozy and chewy. Feels like a lot more caramel malt and body with lighter barrel notes than BA OE. Alcoholic, and quite sticky with a full body and low carbonation.

On tap. Pours with a near black body, sort of cola like with a minimal off-white head. Aromas of cola, dates, char, dark fruit, milk chocolate, and a lot of barrel. Fruity with a good bit of bourbon. Flavors are of toffee, toasty, caramel, maple, cola, barrel, vanillin, dark fruit and drying tannins. Medium-low carbonation and nicely warming.

On tap at sourfest. Pours with a murky brown hued body with minimal head retention or formation. Aromas are of maple, acid, vinegar, low funk, medium esters, berries, light leather. Flavors are medium acidic, lightly acetic, leather, tart, earthy, dark fruit, mild esters. Lower carbonation, medium-low bodied. A bit warming.

Pours with a hazed yellow hued body with a large white head that is quite retentive. Aromas are elegant with strong floral brett and a deep funk character. Dry and woody, lightly acidic nose.Flavors are dry, earthy, woody and quite tannic. Dry leaves, medium sour, floral and elegant. Peppery phenol, fruity wine notes. Plenty of complexity. Tons of oak vanillins, very lively carbonation (bottle conditioned sample), dry. Very well done!

On tap. Pours with a pitch black hued body with a deep brown head that lasts surprisingly well. Aromas are of rich fig, dark fruits, raisins, nutty, chocolate, rich bourbon and oak vanillin. Fig newtons. Flavors are of chocolate, quite warming, ashy, big bourbon, flint. Low carbonation. Warming.

Cask at Tustins. Dark brown-amber with lace. Nice hop nose with a touch of caramel. Hoppy, citra flavor, grapefruit and lemon. Not too much caramel in the flavor, especially when considering the color. Tasty stuff.
