Bottle (750ml): Clear, amber coloured, small creamy off-white head, fruity and (a bit toasted) malty-nutty nose; mild sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; soft malty-fruity finish with a touch of bisquits. Pleasant drink........

Not bad. It might be a little oxidized, but only a little bit. Aroma has yeast as well. Flavor is a balance of sweet malt like a dark Belgian ale with yeast and light spice. Cloudy, light brown appearance with some sediment. These Ch’ti beers aren’t bad, but far too expensive. I only paid $5 for this and it is a good value at that price.

Bottled. Coppery amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel, slight mustardyness and raisins. Flavour is big malts along with some slight raisins in it. Quite watery. The aroma was more promising...

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Hazy pale yellow, rich head. Fairly sweet and light bodied with spritzy mouthfeel. Some freshening light citrus, but the flavour is well light, resulting in an almost thn mouthfeel and a light metallic touch. Still it works as a very light refreshing summer quencher, sort of Hogaarden light.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of tbone_. Pours a slightly hazy, golden with a dense, white head. Sourish, malty aroma. Medium in body with fairly sweet malts and then some fruity or floral accents. Has a vague, underlying tartness, but absolutely no bitterness. 090407
